Specialist Operations concluded its research on the reconstruction in Lebanon post the 2006 war. The research is an attempt to show the reconstruction efforts and its actors within the wider conflict and describe the relationships and variables at play. By making the use of urban destruction, planning and development tools explicit, the research provides footholds in how to engage with the new developments in Lebanon. The findings are presented in the publication ‘Constructing Lebanon’. We are indebted to all those who shared their insight, without whom the task would have been nearimpossible.
