Civil-military
Co-operation

Specialist Operations has received an invitation to speak with the Commander of the Dutch Armed Forces General Middendorp at the Defense facility for military exercises in Stroe.

A group of 15 people, drawn from various civil backgrounds, spoke about potential areas to furthering civil-military co-operation.

It presented a good occasion to foreground the role of spatial planners within conflict zones and introduce design thinking as an integral part of the chain of the postwar reconstruction currently led by military engineers, policy-makers, NGO project managers, and donor state diplomats.
