Specialist Operations recently embarked on its most ambitious project to date; Assembling Afghanistan – Recalibrating Post-war Reconstruction Outcomes Through an Exploration of Vernacular Planning. Its findings will be presented in 2015. We gratefully receives funding from the Creative Industry Fund NL for the development of its research project. The project will focus on the largest reconstruction mission in human history. It aims to generate new insights into the unique form of urban development in Afghanistan and re-calibrate its relationship to post-war reconstruction.
